Who we are:
CASCADE is not your typical accounting firm.
We believe that walking into work every morning should be something you look forward to. We are a tight group of professionals that have great respect for one another and lean on each other when need be. Our office culture is a casual one, but one that carries with it accountability.
We are a small firm that is always striving to work smarter, not harder. Each individual has a voice at CASCADE and we believe in the investment of our team. We believe in technology-forward practices and take all suggestions for growth seriously and thoughtfully. Although we are based in Teton Valley, ID we have employees that work remotely and support that for the right individual.
Everyone in the office has their own passions, interests, hardships…lives. We understand that to be the best in what we do, we also need to be the best as individuals. We are laid back and love to bull$!@t with our clients, but understand when it’s go time. Tax season is no joke and it is demanding. Our clients deserve the best of us and we always want to over deliver. That being said, we value our time away from the office and take advantage of where we live to the fullest.

What we look for:
The culture that has been built with CASCADE is a tight one. We are looking for smart, talented individuals that will add to that culture and keep the underlying personality of our firm. We also want someone career-minded, driven, and passionate. Detailed work is a must and trust is essential. Being a small firm we foster relationships with our clients and want each of our team members to seek connections and be involved in their communities.
Someone joining our firm needs to be a team player. We all have our own roles but step up for each other when needed. We want someone that can put their head down and focus on task completion but laugh with clients when they randomly stop by…which they do…a lot.
Each individual that joins our team needs to think about our clients first, understanding that even small details can make a real difference.
Where we are headed:
The rate of growth that Teton Valley continues to experience is staggering, and as one of the few CPA firms in the area, we know that we need to grow with it. We are incessant on being up to date with the latest tax laws/trends and utilizing the best technology in our industry.
We have created a team of incredible professionals that can’t be matched and now we look to expand that. We will continue to look to the future and make the changes necessary to stay current and competitive.
The Teton Valley Draw:
Although we are open to remote employees, having a home-based team is also desirable. Teton Valley is an incredible community located less than an hour from Jackson, Wyoming.
Grand Targhee Ski Resort and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort hold some of the best terrain in the West for skiing, hiking, and mountain biking, and some of the lightest snow in record-breaking amounts. Other than downhill skiing, there are beautiful cross-country trails, breathtaking views to take in snowshoeing and the nearby mountains have extreme snowmobiling. In the summertime, those same areas are used for mountain biking, dirt biking, and hiking.
The nearby rivers accommodate all adventurers with blue ribbon fishing, exciting white water rafting and even floating on a lazy afternoon. There are 5 golf courses, hot springs, hunting, community events and so much more. It is truly a destination to be experienced and a dream to make your home.
